"What Lies Beneath" is a representation of what's in the land, under our very feet here in Ireland. A lone tree (maybe a faerie tree) sits on a mound full of buried treasure; heart shaped pebbles, a piece of an old clay pipe, stones of green Connemara marble, and broken ceramics, one picturing a man of the land. A love of this ancient landscape combined with little pieces of Irish history.
The pebble art is presented in a 10"x10" (25cmx25cm) white box frame with glass. It can be hung (please ensure you use appropriate fixings when hanging) or left free-standing. Photos of item are taken without front in place so that detail can be seen without glare. It comes in a white craft gift box and "Celtic Wren" will be signed on the mount.
By using stones, pebbles and twigs found in and around the Boyne Valley region of Ireland, I hope, in some way, a little of the essence and joy of this ancient land goes with you. Beannachtaí (Blessings)x
